Beulah Acres, April Farm Tour & Plant Walk
Check out our farm partner Beulah Acres! We had a farm tour and plant walk in April where our
subscribers got to learn about wild medicinal plants and see where their food waste gets composted.
Learning About Beulah Acres, a Permaculture Ecosystem
Beulah Acres is a permaculture ecosystem including a barnyard, food forest, and community garden, all
located on the Global Spheres Center property. Global Spheres also boasts a beautiful prayer garden, a
large pond, and plenty of space to sit and walk around. Our Compost Carpool subscribers got the chance
to learn about what permaculture is, see the animals, and identify wild edible and medicinal plants
growing on the property. Our staff composter Laura Prentice led the plant walk, and Daniel Arenas of
Beulah Acres introduced everyone to the various projects going on at Beulah. Beulah Acres is a great
place to volunteer or just visit! And it is one of several farms we donate food waste too. Check out other
farms and organizations we support here.
