HOW IT WORKS

Everyone is welcome!

From avid gardeners or zero waste fanatics, to someone just starting to be conscious of their waste, all are welcome!  Composting is not complicated, but takes time and effort. In our experience, the process turns out to be more labor-intensive and time-consuming than someone new to composting expects, and even those who are the most enthusiastic about getting started end up not wanting to deal with the mess. We offer an alternative that is good for the soil and simple for you!

We collect food, yard, paper and cardboard waste. A portion we donate to local farms and community gardens to contribute to their compost piles and a portion we compost ourselves to give back compost twice a year to our subscribers.

WHAT CAN I COMPOST?

It’s this easy

1

Join online or visit us at one of our weekly community drop-off locations where you can pick up your bucket and welcome kit.

2

START COLLECTING

Fill your bucket each week with compostables like fruit and veggie scraps, coffee grounds, eggshells, shredded paper, etc.

3

WE’LL PICK IT UP

Or you can drop it off! We weigh your full bucket and exchange it for a new one. Then, we transport and donate a portion of the compostables to local farms and community garden, and we compost the rest for you!

Subscription Options

We offer two subscription options. When you join the carpool, you’ll get a welcome kit that includes a small gift, bucket and instructions on what you can compost. Then, simply collect waste during the week. We will pick it up and leave you with a fresh bucket, or you can drop it off and exchange your full bucket for a new one. Leave the rest to us!

Community Dropoff

We have partnered with Farmer’s Markets and like-minded businesses in the area who host us weekly as community drop off locations. If you’re already part of the carpool, check the calendar for times and locations, then bring your bucket by, we’ll weigh it and exchange it for a clean one. If you’re new to the carpool, and just joined online, stop by to say hi and pick up your bucket and welcome kit!

Current bi-monthly community drop-off locations: Clearfork Farmer’s Market in Fort Worth (1st, 3rd and 5th Saturdays) Flower Mound Farmer’s (1st, 3rd and 5th Sundays), and Coppell Farmer’s Market (2nd, 4th and 5th Saturdays).
