Market Manager

Make a little extra $$ while saving the planet!

We are hiring individuals to help manage our community drop-off locations.  These could range from 2-5 hour shifts at local businesses or farmer’s markets where you will represent Compost Carpool, facilitate the exchange of full buckets for clean ones and sign up new subscribers.  Must be willing to work weekends and have reliable transportation that is large enough to haul a load of full buckets and set-up materials.  You will be responsible for setup and take-down of our trade-show setup and transporting items to and from the market location to our headquarters in Grapevine.

We have immediate needs for managers at the Coppell Farmer’s Market, Glade Parks Farmer’s Market and the Flower Mound Farmer’s Market.

Manage our booth two Saturdays a month. All market fees and gas reimbursement paid for by Compost Carpool.

Help us with our mission.

We LOVE what we do but it’s not our full-time gig (yet) so we need help from other compassionate people who are looking for a way to make an impact in the community and the environment.  There are many ways you could help including:

  • Placing flyers on doors
  • Talking to local businesses
  • Sharing our information on your social page, group and neighborhood pages
  • Representing us at community and local chamber of commerce events
  • Master Composters and Master Gardeners can host composting classes as our representative (and we’ll cover any costs)
